Kind Words from our Guests

Secret Garden Cottages were "launched" on the 21st August 2011 and so far we have welcomed around 100 groups of guests.

Here are some of the messages we have received from them:

Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our stay in The Coach House over the weekend.

We have stayed in a lot of self catering cottages/lodges etc and yours is certainly one of the nicest we have stayed in.

You have a lovely, well-appointed property with an amazing view and we had everything we needed to hand.

The "welcome pack" was appreciated and it was useful to have the ordnance survey map and leaflets.

We hope to return to the area again before too long and would definitely stay at The Coach House again if it's available.

Thanks for a lovely stay at the Coach House.We really enjoyed ourselves & think you have created a wonderfull,cosy space in which to relax. I'm sure we'll be back in the future as there is so much to see & do in the area. Mum absolutely fell in love with the area & particularly enjoyed Portmerion & our flying visit to Beamaris on the way home.

We found Secret Garden Cottages purely by chance on a google search. And what a find these beautiful cottages are. We stayed in the Coach House and it was absolutely perfect.
Cath's attention to detail is second to none. The cottage itself is sympathetically renovated, quiet, warm and very cosy with a huge bed we just sank into and had the best nights sleep for ages. The large garden is lovely and full of birdlife with lots of secret places. We would recommend Secret Garden Cottages very highly for a terrific value 5 star (in our opinion) get away. Fabulous pubs and restaurants a short walk down the hill and lots to see and do in the area. Thanks Cath -- we'll be back

Dear Cath and Mark,

Many thanks for a most enjoyable week in North Wales. The Stables was an extremely comfortable and well appointed cottage. You were excellent hosts being attentive and friendly without being intrusive making our stay even more enjoyable.

We found Tremadog to be a very good centre for seeing North West Wales. There was so much to see and do that we only scratched the surface during our week. We would love to come again and explore some more.

Once again many thanks for our stay we hope to see you again soon. Best of luck with the garden it should keep you and the boys out of mischief for some time!

We had a marvelous time in Wales, pretty cold, wet and misty, but after having spend the day outside, your warm and cosy cottage was there to receive us!

We absolutely loved our stay, and cant commend you highly enough on the beautiful cottages you have created. We felt at home right away, probably down to the wonderful finishing touches. The gorgeous bed and linen is an obvious one, but we also appreciated the milk and welsh cakes waiting for us. Was wonderful to have a brew on arrival after a long drive!

The location was absolutely perfect for us, and will be for anyone with a few days to explore this gorgeous corner of Wales.

I just wanted to drop a line to say a massive thank you for helping to make our holiday so enjoyable – The Stables really is a gem and we can’t praise the whole experience highly enough – fantastic location, beautifully finished and equipped cottage and the sun even came out! I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful week we had at the Coach House last week. As I said to you this is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. The refurbishment is beautiful and it was so nice to be some where so uncluttered, but at the same time well equipped. Despite the changeable weather we had a great week – my only regret that we didn’t have more opportunity to enjoy sitting out in the garden with it’s wonderful view over the valley opposite! It was good to have somewhere comfortable and dry to return to when it was raining. Having access to a washing machine and tumble drier was also great.

We also enjoyed the walk up the hill into the National Park – it was lovely just to walk without getting into the car!

So many thanks for a wonderful stay – and we hope to return soon!

Dear Cath and family

Thankyou very much for providing such amazing accommodation in or for us to explore the wonders of North Wales. The cottages are completed to so such a high standard they truly are a "home from home!" We have had a fantastic holiday and we will definitely be back and will also definitely be telling our family and friends.

What a superb find, just how the website described. We knew that as soon as we walked through the door we were going to love it.
Cath and Mark have put a lot of thought into what their guests need and as a result have provided excellent accommodation.
