New for Autumn 2015 :  Seasonal Treat Hamper with all low season bookings

Welcome to our luxury holiday cottages nestling on the  hill-side just above the lovely village of Tremadog near Porthmadog in North Wales.  Virtually hidden away from the world and yet within easy walking distance of the village facilities.  The Snowdonia National Park is literally a few paces away and we are only 3 miles from some of the loveliest beaches in Wales.

The cottages have an interesting history, having been lovingly converted from the Coach House at Plas Tan yr Allt, former residence of Alexander Maddocks (founder of both Porthmadog and Tremadog) and which was more recently the school hall for the Snowdonia Steiner School.  Situated in a beautiful peaceful setting in an acre of Victorian Walled garden, the cottages have been equipped to a high standard and furnished luxuriously to ensure that our guests have a very special time.

The Stables our lovely boutique-style romantic cottage for two is now available for booking.

The Coach House , which has 2 double/twin en-suite rooms,  is ideal for a small family or a 2 couples.

Gardener's Cottage with its 3 en-suite rooms is ideal for larger families or groups of friends.

Please see individual cottage pages for availability and tariff information.

Please note that we do not permit smoking nor accommodate pets

New for Autumn 2015 :  Cosy Treat Hamper
We will be popping a little basket of treats and goodies into each cottage to make your low season stay just that  little more special.  We call it our "Cwtch" package: Cwtch means hug or cuddle in Welsh and our little hamper is designed to "cosy you up" after a blustery day spent walking in the hills or combing the beaches.  You will find a bottle of mulled wine, a special Choc-o-lait belgium hot chocolate stiring stick each, a box of savoury crackers, a couple of nice chocolate wafers and of course a packet of welsh cakes (to go with your panad o de (cup of tea)) when you arrive.

We have carried the Cwtch theme through the cottages too adding cosy throws and (electric!) candles (our insurance doesn't allow us to provide real ones): they are surprisingly effective: made of real wax and actually flicker!!  Sometimes it's the little details that make all the difference!
